General Considerations for FastIron 08.0.95h or Later

As part of resolving FI-273736, the AAA authentication-method list defect, this or a similar note is being added to the FI 09.0.10x, FI 10.0.00x, and FI 10.0.10x upgrade guides (latest versions).

RUCKUS ICX FastIron 09.0.10f (GA) Release Notes

If you are installing an ICX 7150 or ICX 7450 device that contains MCU PD69220, you must upgrade the stack to FastIron 08.0.95h or later prior to installing the ICX 7150 or ICX 7450 device.

Downgrading software from FastIron 08.0.95h on an ICX 7150 or ICX 7450 device that contains MCU PD69220 is not allowed.

Downgrading software on a stack with any ICX 7150 or ICX 7450 device that contains MCU PD69220 is not allowed. A device with an MCU PD69220 cannot join a stack running on software lower than 08.0.95h. The entire stack must be upgraded to FastIron 08.0.95h or later before connecting to a new unit with an MCU PD69220

The MCU PD69220 can be indenified by the #show inline power detail command.
