Installing a KVM Guest Using virsh Commands

Use the

tar -xvf
                     						vriot-qcow2-2.0.0.0.x.tar

command to extract the vriot-qcow2-2.0.0.0.x.tar file.

Use the

sudo mv vriot-2.0.0.0.x.qcow2
                     						/var/lib/libvirt/images/

command to move the qcow2 image to the libvirt images path..

Use the

virsh define
                     						vriot-2.0.0.0.x.xml

command to define the VM.

Note: You must edit the XML file to add it to the network interface

Use the

virsh start
                     						Ruckus-IoT-Controller

command to start the virtual machine (VM).

Use the

virsh console
                     						Ruckus-IoT-Controller

command to obtain console access to the VM.
