Downgrade from a UFI to a Non-UFI Version Using SCP

When TFTP is not available or a secure download is required, you can download FastIron images using SCP.

Note: If you downgrade from FastIron release 08.0.90 to a previous release using SCP, boot image download using SCP is not possible. Once the ICX device has booted from the previous image, you must download the boot image again separately.

The following example downgrades from FastIron 08.0.90 images to 08.0.70e images using SCP.

  1. Copy the application image to flash using SCP. 
    ICX7650-48F Router# copy scp flash 10.176.132.13 TNR08070e.bin primary

  2. Enter the show flash command to check for the installed image.
