Automatic Fanless Mode Support for RUCKUS AV 8200 Switch
RUCKUS AV Switches employ intelligent fan
management systems to optimize cooling efficiency. During the boot process or after
a
reload, fans may operate at a higher speed to ensure adequate cooling. Once the
system
stabilizes, fan speeds are adjusted based on internal temperature sensors. This
dynamic
approach ensures optimal cooling performance without unnecessary noise.
Overview
The automatic fanless mode is a feature designed to optimize fan usage based on real-time conditions. If the RUCKUS AV 8200 switch can operate reliably without fans, it will automatically enter fanless mode. However, if the system detects that fanless mode is not sufficient to maintain optimal temperatures, the fans will be reactivated.
