Configuring a Static Port Profile

Complete the following steps to configure and apply a static port profile on a specific interface.
Note: Port profiles are supported only on physical Ethernet ports.
Note: Do not include ports that are members of a Link Aggregation Group (LAG) when specifying ports for a static port profile.
  1. Enter global configuration mode.
    device# configure terminal
  2. Create a port profile and assign a profile name.
    device(config)# port-profile profile1
  3. Specify the interface on which the profile needs to be applied.
    device(config-port-profile-profile1)# ports ethernet 1/1/5

    After creating the static port profile, you can apply the configurable attributes to this configuration.
