Re-enabling DHCPv6 Auto-provisioning

When you re-enable the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6) auto-provisioning, an ICX device automatically upgrades its network image and configuration using parameters provided by a DHCPv6 server. DHCPv6 auto-provisioning is enabled by default. The following task re-enables the DHCPv6 auto-provisioning service for a peer device if it has been disabled.
  1. Enter global configuration mode.
    device# configure terminal
  2. Re-enable DHCPv6 auto-provisioning.
    device(config)# ipv6 dhcp6-client auto-update enable

This following example disables the DHCPv6 auto-provisioning service for a peer device.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# no ipv6 dhcp6-client auto-update enable

This following example re-enables the DHCPv6 auto-provisioning service for a peer device.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ipv6 dhcp6-client auto-update enable
