You can modify or reset the network
settings after the RND system has been installed and is operational. This allows
you to
update the system’s network parameters, particularly the IP address, without requiring
a
full reinstallation or manual intervention outside the RND CLI environment. The
network
settings can be dynamically reconfigured to adapt to changes in the deployment environment,
ensuring continued connectivity and system operation with minimal disruption. To
perform the
network reset, you can use the system reset-network command available in the RND CLI.
RUCKUS Network Director offers a
comprehensive High Availability (HA) solution (DB replication) with near real-time
database
sync-up between RND nodes. HA clusters are used for failover, load balancing, and
backup
purposes.
A fast and reliable network is important
for performance in a distributed system. Low latency helps ensure that nodes can communicate
easily, while high bandwidth helps shared movement and recovery.
