Enabling BUM Suppression Logging
Complete the following steps to enable
BUM suppression logging.
Note: Rate limiting must be enabled.
- Enter global configuration mode.
- Enter Ethernet interface configuration mode.
- Enable rate limiting.
- Enable logging when the specified limit is exceeded.
- Use the threshold option for the broadcast limit to shut down the port and generate the syslog.
- Globally configure the log interval.
- Verify the logging interval.
- Verify the configuration.
