In this guide we refer to snapshots as one version of the different aspects of the
system. There are two kinds of snapshots that you need to become familiar with:
Configuration snapshots, which are snapshots of the Cloudpath workflow configuration.
VMware snapshots, which preserves the state and data of a virtual machine at a specific
point in time.
