Changing the SSL Server Certificate Key Size

The default key size for RUCKUS-issued and imported digital certificates is 4096 bits. You can set the key size to a value of 2048 or 4096 bits. For example, to change the key size to 2048, enter the following command.

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ip ssl cert-key-size 2048
Note: You can use the no form of the command shown to reset the key size to the default, or you can explicitly enter the default value of 4096.
Note: The SSL server certificate key size applies only to digital certificates issued by RUCKUS and does not apply to imported certificates.
