Audio-Visual Profile Support for an ICX Switch

An Audio-Visual (AV) profile manages and optimizes audio and video signals over an IP network.

You can create an AV profile using the RUCKUS Unleashed web interface, which allows a RUCKUS AP to send configuration settings to a RUCKUS AV switch. This enables the switch to efficiently manage Audio-Visual traffic. The configuration, based on the AV template, is then applied to a RUCKUS AV switch.

Audio-Visual (AV) profile feature is supported from FastIron 10.0.10e release.

The following RUCKUS ICX devices support the AV profile:

  • ICX8100-24P-V
  • ICX8100-48P-V
