Disabling or Re-enabling DHCP Option 37 (DHCP-Relay Information) Processing on all VLAN Member Ports

You can disable or re-enable DHCP option 37 processing globally, and disable and re-enable as necessary on specified VLANs.

The dhcp6-relay information enable command is supported only on ICX 8200 devices.

  1. Enter global configuration mode. 
    device# configure terminal
  2. Enter interface configuration mode. 
    device(config)# vlan 1000
  3. Disable DHCP option 37 for all interfaces on the specified VLAN. 
    device(config-vlan-1000)# no dhcp6-relay information enable
  4. Re-enable DHCP option 37 for all interfaces on the specified VLAN. 
    device(config-vlan-1000)# dhcp6-relay information enable

The following example disables DHCP option 37 on all ports for VLAN 1000. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# vlan 1000
device(config-vlan-1000)# no dhcp6-relay information enable
